<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic safety auxiliary system improving visibility. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a camera 1 which photographs a road in the opposite lane of a vehicle 21 being turning right at an intersection, a road display panel 2 set at the upper position of the front road of the intersection so as to be visible by the driver of the vehicle 21, a control means 3 which controls the display of a picture on a road obtained by the camera 1 on the road display panel 2, a near infrared irradiator 4 which illuminates the road so that a picture on the road can be obtained by the camera 1, and that the drivers of vehicles 23-25 on the road can be prevented from being dazzled, a picture recognizing means 5 which recognizes a traveling object on the road approaching the intersection based on the picture on the road obtained by the camera 1, a radar 6 which projects lights to the traveling object on the road approaching the intersection, and which obtains the information of the position and speed of the traveling object from the reflected lights, and an on-vehicle voice outputting means which outputs information for urging the driver to pay attention by a voice.</p> |
