DEVICE AND FILTER FOR COLLECTING CHLORINATED ORGANIC COMPOUND

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a collecting device capable of simultaneously capturing and collecting chlorinated organic compounds in a particulate state and gaseous state contained in a fluid. SOLUTION: A collecting device 3 is provided with a tubular porous collecting filter 7 with one closed end and an opening part 7a at the other end, an introducing tube 8 detachable to the opening part 7a for introducing a fluid into the collecting filter 7, and a holder 6 to cover the collecting filter 7 and to comprise a discharge channel 12a for discharging a fluid passing through the collecting filter 7 to the outside. The collecting filter 7 is formed of a molded body containing ultra-fine carbon-based fibers of a mean fiber diameter of 10μm or less and a set porosity 80-100%. A gas sample transferred via the introducing tube 8 is discharged to the outside from the discharge channel 12a after chlorinated organic compounds in a particulate state and a gaseous state contained in the gas sample are simultaneously collected and removed in the collecting filter 7.
