PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microcapsule production method capable of forming a homogeneous and firm coating film and simultaneously of stably producing the microcapsule. SOLUTION: After a liquid containing (A) component dispersed therein is produced by blending components (A) to (D) described below, a reaction of the liquid with a hardly water-soluble melamine-formaldehyde resin type prepolymer, which is (B) component, is carried out. Consequently, a coating film made of a melamine-formaldehyde resin type material is formed in the circumference of a core material, which is (A) component to give a microcapsule with a core/shell structure in which the core material, the (A) component, is enclosed. The components (A) to (D) are as follows: (A): a non-agricultural chemical type core material powder composing the core part of the microcapsule, (B): a hardly water-soluble melamine-formaldehyde resin type prepolymer, (C): a condensate product (or its salt) of at least one of naphthalenesulfonic acid and alkylnaphthalenesulfonic acid with formaldehyde, and (D): an aqueous medium. |
