PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent saturation of output voltage of an inverter, so that a control system can be prevented from becoming unstable. SOLUTION: This device comprises a speed control part 1 outputting a q-axis current command value based on a deviation between a detected speed value and a set speed command value of an induction motor 8, q-axis current control part 2 outputting a q-axis voltage command value based on a deviation between this output q-axis current command value and a detected q-axis current value of the induction motor 8, magnetic flux control part 4 outputting a d-axis current command value based on a deviation between a magnetic flux command value converted from the speed value and a magnetic flux value converted from a detected d-axis current value of the induction motor 8, d-axis current control part 5 outputting a d-axis voltage command value based on a deviation between this output d-axis current command value and the d-axis current value, and a magnetic flux limit part 12 limiting a magnetic flux command value so as to prevent saturation of voltage given to the induction motor 8 based on the q-axis voltage command value output by the q-axis current control part 2.
