PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effect adding device in which intervals of output signals are varied by simple operations. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a BPF 3 which takes out signals having a desired frequency band from audio signals, an amplitude envelope detecting section 4 which detects amplitude envelopes of the signals taken out by the BP F3, a BPF 5 which tales out signals having a desired frequency band of input audio signals and a multiplier 6 which modulates the signals detected by the BPF 5 by the amplitude envelopes. Moreover, a parameter setting section 8 is provided to change the frequency band characteristic of the BPF 5. The section 8 sets the parameters of the BPF 5 employing an interpolation processing based on beforehand set first and second parameters. Thus, the frequency band characteristic of the BPF 5 is varied within a certain range and the intervals of output signals of a effect adding device 1 are varied by the operations above. |
