PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an improved ultrasonic apparatus having a highly reliable vibration type hand-piece. SOLUTION: The hand-piece 10 has a set of piezo-electric elements vibrating in the vertical direction. To acquire periodically vibrating movement or torsional movement, nearly parallel and oblique slits 20 are formed on the circumference of an ultrasonic phone 18. Vibrations in the vertical direction are converted to the periodic vibrations or torsional vibrations by the slits 20. |
