PURPOSE: A sound clock capable of recording and reproducing voice and automatically transmitting voice messages is provided which is constructed in a manner that a voice synthesizing module having functions of recording and reproducing voice memo and automatically transmitting a voice message recorded at a predetermined set time is combined with a general clock device. CONSTITUTION: A user interface(2) selects functions of recording, reproducing, selecting, deleting and stopping a voice message. A speech CODEC(3) converts an analog voice signal into a digital signal using an A/D converter to code voice with PCM parameters and recovers the PCM parameters to the original voice to convert the voice into an analog signal. A flash memory(4) stores the PCM voice parameters. A microprocessor(5) stores voice parameters in the memory, transmits the voice parameters read from the memory to the speech CODEC, selects an address of the memory where a voice memo or voice message is stored, deletes voice data, initializes the state of the system, and sets time using an inner or external clock. A display(6) displays the status of the storing, reproducing, selecting, deleting and stopping operations and represents an address of the memory where voice to be reproduced or deleted in serial numbers. A speaker(7) outputs the analog signal output from the speech CODEC to the outside.
