PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic cutting system with improved fatigue life of a blade. SOLUTION: This ultrasonic cutting system is provided with a ultrasonic vibration exciter having a working face; a block horn having a response face connected to the working face therein and a working face, provided with at least one normal adjusting slot having a 4-6 mm width crossing a block between the work face and the response face; a cutting blade mounted on the work face of the block horn and placed in a plane containing an axis in the longitudinal direction of the vibration so as to be vibrated with the work face together. The block horn is also provided with at least one narrow adjusting and damping slot having a 0.1-2.5 mm width crossing the block horn between the work face and the response face. |
