PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a building decorative panel capable of forming the grooves formed between the mutually bonded parts of building decorative panels or surface grooves into a curved surface shape having soft appearance. SOLUTION: The upper edge parts of four peripheries of a substrate on which a sheetlike decorative material is laminated are chamfered by cutting and decorative grooves are processed in the surface of the substrate and an ultraviolet curable paint containing 70 weight % or more of a resin and having a surface tension of 28 dyne/am or more is applied to the entire surface of the substrate so that the thickness of a coating film after curing on the surface of the substrate becomes 40μm or more to form the coating film layers on the chamfered surfaces or the inner surfaces of the decorative grooves into a curved surface shape.
