PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document management device capable of realizing a trigger by a general method regardless of the utilization method. SOLUTION: A trigger processing client program 24 registers a prepared trigger definition to a server program 34. In the state, when a general client program 14 requests the operation of new registration, updating or elimination to the server program 34, an operation reception part 35 in the server program 34 receives the request and a change processing part 36 executes the requested operation. The change processing part 36 calls a trigger detection part 37 after a processing. The trigger detection part 37 compares registered triggers with the change operation processed at the time, and when a pertinent trigger is present, notifies the trigger processing client program 24 that the change operation is performed. |
