PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To pressure weld a semistage sheet onto a sizing roll widthwise uniformly by pressure force by enabling deformation due to heat of a presser component to be suppressed for a sizing apparatus for a corrugating machine. SOLUTION: For the sizing apparatus 2 for the corrugating machine wherein a corrugated board is manufactured by bonding a liner to the semistage sheet, the sizing roll 4 and the presser component 20 for pressing the semistage sheet 7 onto the sizing roll 4 in order to transfer starch onto a stage crest of the semistage sheet from the sizing roll 4 are equipped thereto. Then, a thermal deformation suppressing structure 21 for suppressing deflection deformation due to heat of the presser component 20 is provided to the presser component 20.
