NEUTRALIZING AGENT AND NEUTRALIZING DEVICE

PURPOSE: A neutralizing agent and neutralizing device is provided to suppress the lowering of neutralizing capacity with time by forming a neutralizing agent into a sheet like form. CONSTITUTION: A neutralizing agent(2) is composed of a first sheet body(2a) and a second sheet body(2b) having a square and a fixed thickness. Each of the sheet bodies(2a) and(2b) is composed of an alkaline material such as magnesium oxide and calcium carbonate or an amphoteric metal such as aluminum, zinc and tin, is made to the same dimension and weight and the ratio of the thickness T to the length A of the cross-section cut in the thickness direction is set to smaller than 1/5. The suppressing effect of the lowering of neutralization capacity with time is improved by this composition.
