<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic payment system usable for an electronic commercial transaction and an actual transaction by using an anonymous representative payment means and the method. SOLUTION: This system is provided with an electronic payment web server connected to customer terminal equipment through the Internet for imparting a customer identification number and a password by the registration application of a customer, imparting the anonymous representative payment means by the card application of the customer and downloading an electronic wallet driving program onto the web browser of the customer terminal equipment and a payment gateway server for including the identification number of the representative payment means issued from the financial system of a financial company by the card application of the customer in an electronic wallet, receiving the transmission of merchandise purchase information from the electronic wallet driving program, receiving an account settlement approval application from an Internet shopping mall server, applying for account settlement approval as the representative payment means regarding the customer identification number to the financial system and reporting an account settlement approval result from the financial system to the Internet shopping mall server.</p> |
