摘要 PURPOSE: A velocity corrector of wheels is provided to improve the performance of a control system using the velocity of wheels by correcting the difference between left and right wheels of front and rear wheels. CONSTITUTION: Wheel velocity calculators(21-24) calculates the velocity of wheels by counting signal changes from output signals of each wheel velocity sensor(11,14). A vehicle velocity calculator(50) calculates the velocity of a vehicle, and a velocity difference calculator(30) obtains the difference between left and right wheels of front and rear wheels on the basis of the calculated wheel velocity. A wheel velocity corrector/decider(51) compares the calculated vehicle velocity with predetermined reference velocity and starts to correct the wheel velocity if the velocity is higher than the reference value. A driving sensor(60) detects acceleration and braking of a vehicle. A straight driving decider(40) decides the straight driving of a vehicle to exclude mis-detection caused by the velocity difference between left and right wheels when the vehicle turns. A correction coefficient calculator(70) calculates a correction coefficient, based on the calculated velocity difference from the velocity difference calculator and the vehicle velocity from the vehicle velocity calculator. A wheel velocity corrector(80) corrects the wheel velocity between front and rear wheels by using the obtained correction coefficient. A control system(90) controls the brake hydraulic pressure of each wheel according to the corrected wheel velocity. The wheel velocity corrector corrects wheel velocity if the wheel velocity is distorted by eccentric abrasion of tires, falling of pneumatic pressure and punctures of tires. Therefore, the performance of the control system is improved.
