PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alkaline dry cell that has superior discharging performance after storage under high temperatures. SOLUTION: This alkaline dry cell comprises an anode mixture, containing manganese dioxide and nickel oxyhydroxide as active substances, a cathode consisting of zinc and an electrolyte, consisting of an alkaline aqueous solution. The anode mixture contains graphite powder, which has a BET specific surface area of 3-4 m2/g. |
