BASE STATION APPARATUS OF RADIO COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND TIMING ADJUSTMENT METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically control the transmission timing of up-frame and down-frame between the respective base station apparatus, in order to enable simultaneously transmitting and receiving of plural stations in radio communication system constituted of main station equipment and a plurality of base station apparatuses which are connected in a tree type. SOLUTION: A base station apparatus 3 is provided with a GPS receiving means 11, a radio transmission timing calculating means 12, a radio transmission delay means 13 and a radio transmitting and receiving means 14. The radio transmission timing calculating means 12 measures the GPS time designated by the main station equipment 1 and the delay time until the down-frame having a number which is designated in the same way by the main station equipment reaches a self station, and set a time wherein the delay time of the self station is subtracted from the maximum delay time corresponding to the delay time of the most distant base station apparatus, in the radio transmission delay means 13. Thereby simultaneous transmission of a plurality of stations is performed.
