PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing apparatus for a vending machine wherein an amount of a used packing material and an amount of wastes can be reduced as much as possible while keeping functions required for the packing apparatus thereby promoting savings in resources. SOLUTION: The packing apparatus 1 for packing a vending machine having a plurality of pedestals 3 protruding downward at a plurality of corners on a bottom of a vending machine body 2 includes a plurality of pedestal covers 4 which extend vertically and which respectively cover the plurality of pedestals 3 and also come into contact with the bottom from downward for supporting the machine body 2 and cover holding members 14 which keep each of the plurality of the pedestal covers 4 mounted on each of the pedestals.
