<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome the problem of a prior art such that it takes a long time to perform the movement control of a pointer. SOLUTION: A pointer movement controller 100 for performing the movement control of a mouse cursor (pointer) to be displayed on a display picture according to the operation of a mouse 20 (pointing device) is provided with a matrix information generation part 16 for generating matrix information being information whose respective elements are made correspond to the position of the display pictures and the positions of prescribed areas displayed on the display pictures, an operation detecting part 15 for detecting the manipulated variables of the mouse 20, and a mouse cursor movement control part 17 for acquiring the information of the elements according to the position of the mouse cursor from the matrix information, and for performing the movement control of the mouse cursor according to the manipulated variables of the mouse 20 detected by the operation detecting part 15 and the acquired element information. Thus, the movement control of the mouse cursor is performed based on the matrix information being the information whose respective elements are made correspond to the positions of the prescribed areas displayed on the display pictures so that the processing can be performed in a short time in a simple constitution.</p> |
