<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable telephone in which a large-area display can be formed together with a first liquid crystal display part in a telephone body by a method wherein, when the portable telephone is used as a telephone, the first liquid crystal display part in the telephone body can be used as a portable telephone as it is in the same manner as a conventional portable telephone and a second liquid crystal display part which is folded on the rear of the telephone is reversed when the display of information in a large capacity on the Internet or the like is required. SOLUTION: The portable telephone is provided with the telephone body 1 which is equipped with the first liquid crystal display part 2 on the surface and a rotating plate 4 which is tucked on the rear of the telephone body 1 via hinges 3 installed at one edge part of the telephone body 1. The portable telephone has a structure wherein, in a closed posture in which the rotating plate 4 is brought close to the rear of the telephone body 1, the second liquid crystal display part 5 is installed on its outer surface, the rotating plate 4 is formed so as to be capable of being turned up to a posture in which the display part 5 is directed to the same direction as the display part 2.</p> |
