PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an advertiser to improve the sales promotion of the advertiser's own store and increase the profit, and then distribute the latest store information and sales promotion information timely to user. SOLUTION: By this store information providing method which provides store information on a previously registered store member of previously registered user members from a server on the Internet, the store member is made to input sales promotion information on the store regarding an amusement industry, and the server prompts the use members to input whether or not the sales promotion information is received and desired store genres and areas for reception and registers the store genres and areas in user member data when the user accept the reception of the sales promotion information. The server displays stores on map data while discriminating between stores having the sales promotion information and stores having no sales promotion information only in a use period and distributes the sales promotion information of the store to the electronic mail address of PC's or portable terminals of the user members accepting the reception of the sales promotion information at fixed intervals only in the use period.
