PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome such a problem a damage check system of the upper face of a container wherein the upper face of the container is visually observed from the upper side of a gate of a container terminal, which requires high place work, which causes servere eye fatigue and which hardly improves reliabil ity of a damage check. SOLUTION: This system has a camera unit 20 provided in an upper part of each lane of the gate 1, including a high-resolution digital line camera photographing an image of the container 9 by continuously photographing again and again in a line state across the container 9; and a mobile drive device 23 moving the camera unit 20 at a constant low speed in the longitudinal direction of the container 9. The image is photographed with moving the camera unit 20 with the container 9 stopped, its color digital image signal is outputted to a computer inside a damage checker booth and stored, and the image is displayed on a display to allow the visual damage check. |
