<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a target observation method in which a two-dimensional correlation computing operation is not required in order to extract the movement vector of image on an image. SOLUTION: On the basis of the coordinates of the Doppler frequency axis of a desired image on a first picture image 11, the range sheet of the image is calculated. The coordinates of the range axis of the desired image in a second picture image 12 observed after one unit time are estimated. Regarding the estimated range axis of the second picture image, the deviation in the direction of the Doppler frequency axis of the desired range in the first and second picture images 11, 12 is calculated on the basis of the correlation coefficient in the direction of the Doppler frequency axis.</p> |
