PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface treating agent for a glass cloth, capable of improving the affinity and adhesion between the glass cloth and a matrix resin, and as a result, capable of improving the heat resistance of a printed circuit wiring board. SOLUTION: In this surface treating agent for the glass cloth a silane coupling agent keeping the chemical structure having an alkoxy group, and a surfactant are included.
