PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detecting sphere for an air bag shock detecting sensor causing little corrosion to the detecting sphere, and the air bag shock detecting sensor using this detecting sphere. SOLUTION: In this detecting sphere 1521 for the air bag shock detecting sensor, a surface layer part 141 including at least a sphere surface is composed of conductive ceramics whose at least a part of a constituting phase is composed of a conductive inorganic compound phase. The air bag shock detecting sensor 150 is composed by using the detecting sphere for the air bag shock detecting sensor. The detecting sphere 1521 for the air bag shock detecting sensor has excellent corrosion resistance since the detecting sphere is composed of ceramics, and has electric conductivity. |
