PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a musical sound generating device which can use mounted function with less operating elements and easily and speedily change specifications. SOLUTION: A ROM 13 is stored with a table which should be referred to by operation states and the operating elements and a specifications data table which specifies its fields and also stored with a musical instrument matrix, a sound source matrix, and a FDD matrix as tables specified in the specifications data table. When one operating element is operated, a CPU 11 specifies a process to be performed by referring to fields of the specifications data table which are specified by the current operation state and the operating element and further referring to the matrixes specified in the fields and the fields. The process which is thus specified is performed correspondingly with the operation of the operating element. |
