PURPOSE: A side mirror for a vehicle is provided to increase a safety drive by recognizing easily a width of the vehicle to front vehicle by emitting a case of the side mirror. CONSTITUTION: A side mirror for a vehicle comprises a case(100) made of a synthetic resin for penetrating a light of a transparency or a semi-transparency, a mirror(300) coupled at a front side of the case and including a heat wire at a rear side thereof, a shield cover(200) surrounding a peripheral area for coupling the mirror to the case, and an electric bulb(430) for emitting a light or turning on and off the light. A grid type pattern or a plurality of concave-convex portions is formed at a surface of the case, so that a light of the bulb is scattered and emitted via an entire surface of the case.
