GROUND SYSTEM FOR MOVING ELECTRODE TYPE ELECTROSTATIC PRECIPITATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ground system for a moving electrode type electrostatic precipitator which is free of a cost increase by an increase of parts and is made of a maintenance-free grounding structure. SOLUTION: This moving electrode type electrostatic precipitator scrapes dust by means of brushes while dust collection electrodes move. The moving electrode type electrostatic precipitator is previously coated with conductive grease at bearings rotationally supporting a shaft for driving the dust collection electrodes or a shaft for driving the brushes. A grounding wire is grounded by making electrical connection to the stationary member side of the bearings and electric discharge current is run to the stationary member side of the bearings through the conductive grease from the shaft described above.
