PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet flue gas desulfurizing apparatus in which an absorbing liquid can be prevented from being foamed without using special chemicals such as a defoaming agent and without subsequently flowing out to the outside, and the running cost is suppressed by making effective use of water and the absorbing liquid and assuring stable operation. SOLUTION: A liquid injecting pipe 39 for preventing the absorbing liquid 1 from being foamed and subsequently flowing out to the outside is connected to a level controlling overflow pipe 38 which is connected to the liquid accumulating part 1a of an absorption column 3.
