METHOD AND DEVICE FOR COLLECTING MARKETING INFORMATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collect marketing information of high value by providing commodity information so that commodities supplied from different makers can be easily compared with each other. SOLUTION: A user who wants to obtain commodity information previously registers himself or herself in a server 200. The user accesses the server 200 from a user-side terminal 300 to obtain a comparison table generated on the basis of commodity information collection data obtained from a plurality of makers. This comparison table consists of items set in common to classifications of commodities. The user selects an item of the comparison table in order to obtain detailed information or determines a commodity entered in the comparison table. Information showing this selection or determination is sent to the server 200 and is stored as an access history or a purchase history in relation to user information. When the user transmits information showing purchase determination to the server 200, a coupon is issued on condition that the user has been registered. When the user actually purchases the commodity, cash is repaid on the basis of the coupon.
