PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch input device to eliminate chattering by simple software and control by performing periodical detection of a switch state during a prescribed period after receiving a signal generated based on a switch operation of the camera. SOLUTION: In the switch input device of the camera provided with an interruption circuit to generate interruption to a plurality of switches provided in the camera and a time measuring circuit to measure the time, the interruption is generated by the interruption circuit when the switches are operated and a control part periodically makes the interruption circuit periodically generate the interruption by switching a connecting destination of the interruption circuit to the time measuring circuit for a prescribed period, periodically outputting the connecting destination according to the generation of the interruption. The control part to control the entire camera detects the states of the switches according to the generation of the interruption and defines that the switches are depressed when a switch-on state lasts for a prescribed number of times. |
