<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized inexpensive current detector of high accuracy having a wide detection range and excellent in environmental resistance and noise resistance, and an applied device thereof. SOLUTION: In the current detector, a DC magnetic field is applied to two magnetic elements 1a and 1b having magnetic impedance effect by a magnet 3 and a negative feedback magnetic field is applied to the magnetic elements by a coil 2. The change quantities of magnetic fields corresponding to the external magnetic fields applied to the magnetic elements 1a and 1b are detected by detection means 7a and 7b and the output difference between both of them is amplified by a differential amplifying means 8 to enable wide range detection while removing the effect of noise. For example, an overcurrent protective device using the current detector is also disclosed.</p> |
