PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless receiver that optimizes the performance for eliminating interference and an arithmetic scale without degrading the performance of RAKE synthesis. SOLUTION: A maximum delay time setting section 106 uses a delay profile to set a delay time width W' for eliminating interference. In this embodiment, a delay spread is calculated and the time width W' is set up to a delay wave included in the delay spread. First a delay spread calculation section 1061 of the maximum delay time setting section 106 calculates the delay spread. That is, the standard deviation of the delay profiles is calculated. The calculated delay spread is outputted to a maximum delay time decision section 1062. The maximum delay time decision section 1062 decides a maximum delay time (window width) W' on the basis of the delay spread. Thus, up to the delay wave included in the decided maximum delay time in this way is an object of interference elimination in joint detection.
