PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deformity (abnormal machining) of a workpiece before machined. SOLUTION: This ball machining device provided with a grinding wheel 11 with a circumferential groove 12, machines the workpiece into spherical shape, rounding off the corner by rolling the workpiece in the groove by means of a fluid flowing in the groove. In this case, projections 21 are provided inside the groove 12. Consequently, even if the workpieces stick together due to magnetization, the workpieces can be separated from each other by the turbulence of the fluid caused by the presence of the projections 21 and further by colliding with the projections 21. This results in dissolving such defectiveness that the corner cannot be uniformly rounded off due to sticking. |
