PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optoelectronic device capable of performing high quality display by preventing flowing out of a sealing material applied onto a substrate, electronic equipment provided with the optoelectronic device and a method for manufacturing the optoelectronic device. SOLUTION: In a liquid crystal device 100, a recessed and projecting parts formation layer 13a and an upper layer film 7a made of photosensitive resin 13 and 7 are formed on a lower layer side of a light reflection film 8a in an image display area 10a of a TFT array base plate 10. In sealing area, the photosensitive resin 13 and 7 are left behind at both sides of an applied area of a sealing material 52, while only the photosensitive resin 7 is left behind in an area that planarly overlaps the sealing material 52, and a groove 520 is formed. Then, the TFT array substrate 10 and an opposite substrate 20 can be aligned with the sealing material 52 while applying the sealing material 52 into the groove 520 and preventing the sealing material 52 from flowing out. |
