<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for vacuum-molding a bowl-shaped container by which the bowl-shaped container equipped with heat-resistant legs is manufactured by vacuum molding. SOLUTION: A molding material 7 composed of a thermoplastic resin is arranged between a recessed half 5 of a mold as a vacuum force and a projecting half 6 as a pressing force and squeezed into the recessed half 5 by the projecting half 6 and at the same time, the recessed half 5 is internally vacuum- sucked to force the molding material 7 to stick to the molding face 8 of the recessed half 5. In this case, retaining grooves 12 for a rib which are opened into the molding face 8, are previously formed in the recessed half 5 and further, the legs 4 are fitted into the grooves 12, some lengths of the legs 4 being protruded into a molding space 10 as anchors 14. In this state, the molding process is performed and consequently, the peripheries of the anchors 14 are forced into the thick-walled part off the molding material 17. In addition, the molding material 7 is cooled to shrink and in turn, the legs 4 tightly stick to the anchors 14 in one piece.</p> |
