Cooling arrangement for rail-mounted vehicles with an externally placed heat exchanger 9 for cooling of a first cooling medium, which in turn is transported through a pipe system 1 to equipment located inside the vehicle, for cooling the latter. The equipment which is cooled can include a power converter 2 and a second heat exchanger 4, which is connected to a second cooling medium 6 for cooling, for example, oil transformers 3 or the like.
