PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a conventional image providing system of the inability to sell a printed matter resulting from photographing a moving image, such as sports/animals subjected to high resolution print comparable to a photograph or a recording medium for recording an optional static image obtained from a moving image with high resolution. SOLUTION: A storage device 14 stores a moving image at an optional field angle or images before or after an optional moment, while viewing a photographed image with resolution higher than that of an HDTV image displayed on a moving image display device 12 as a moving picture. A distributor 15 reads an image stored in the storage device 14 and distributes the image to a selector 16 via the Internet or the like. A user views a static image displayed on a display device 17, uses the selector 16 to select an optimum image and supplies designated data denoting a point or a block of the selected image to the storage device 14. The storage device 14 supplies the selected moving image at the field angle and the static image to a recording device 18, in which a recording medium 19 stores them. The recording medium 19 can be sold.
