<p>PURPOSE:To perform selection and reception of a program smoothly by transmitting a information table of program being broadcasted at present and that of the next program with a flag indentifying whether they are effective for this time or the next time as information representing the programs. CONSTITUTION:Packetized video data is inputted to an input terminal 1028, and corresponding audio data to an input terminal 1029. Programs are inputted to the input terminals 1028, 1029. Also, video data, audio data and the program are inputted to input terminals 1030, 1031 similarly. The terminals 1028-1035 are connected to FIFOs 1010-1036, respectively. Table memory 1012 stores a PMT(program mapping table). The table memory 1012 is provided with only the sum of programs of the present time zone and the next time zone, and the PMT of the present time zone is multiplexed by a multiplexer the same as that for the video and voice of the program and the PMT of the next time zone is sent to a free multiplexer, and the transmission of the PMT can be performed.</p> |
