摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a high efficiency solar battery which improves an efficiency with a simple constitution and via a simplified process, and to obtain a high efficiency solar battery by utilizing a ferroelectric material. SOLUTION: The solar battery comprises a first conductivity type semiconductor substrate, a second conductivity type semiconductor layer formed on an upper surface of the substrate and having an opposite conductivity type to the first conductivity type substrate, a pn-junction formed in an interface between the first conductivity type substrate and the second conductivity type semiconductor layer, a front surface electrode brought into contact with at least a part of the second conductivity type semiconductor layer, a rear surface electrode brought into contact with at least a part of the first conductivity type semiconductor substrate, a ferroelectric layer formed on at least one surface of the front surface of the second conductivity type semiconductor layer and the rear surface of the first conductivity type substrate, and a polling electrode formed at least on a part of the ferroelectric layer.</p>
