MOVEMENT TRANSMISSION MECHANISM OF OUTSIDE HANDLE OF AUTOMOBILE DOOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit the movement of an outside handle of an automobile door to a remote control mechanism by a simple link mechanism. SOLUTION: The outside handle is movably mounted in the vicinity of a window part on an outer face of a lower side section of an outer panel of the automobile door. An operation piece fixed integrally to an operation part passing through the outer panel of the outside handle and protruding into a clearance or an operation piece operating in the interlocking relationship with the operation part is extended up to the vicinity of an inner panel by crossing a side face of a window glass in the clearance. A rotating shaft attached to a swing link engaging with the operation piece and swung by regulating relative rotation is rotatably supported on the inner panel. A transmission link is attached to the rotating shaft by regulating relative rotation on an inner side of the inner panel and is connected with the remote control mechanism transmitting the movement of the outside handle to a latch mechanism so as to bring the latch mechanism locking the door in a body into a condition ready for door opening.
