<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network resource reservation control method and a node which can be applied even to large-scale and medium-scale networks and which can receive a user request and dead with even a fault. SOLUTION: Each of nodes is provided with: a temporary reservation data management data storage part for correspondingly storing a setting quantity for a correspondence resource reservation and a total reservation quantity up to the moment for each combination of the service types of transfer data and the output side interfaces of transfer data; and a resource management data storage part for correspondingly storing an input side interface concerning each flow and a reservation quantity at least for each combination of the service types of the transfer data and the output interfaces of the transfer data from the node. By utilizing contents in these storage parts, the possibility of resource reservation or management of reserved resources is performed and a fault notice message is generated or transferred.</p> |
