Use of alkoxylated phenol derivatives

Compounds of the general formula (I) where R1, R2 and R3 are independently hydrogen, cyclohexyl or phenyl, with the proviso that at least one of R1 to R3 is not hydrogen, R4 and R5 are independently methyl or hydrogen, and n is from 21 to 40, which are useful as biodegradable dispersants having good dispersing properties for active pharmaceutical and agrochemical components.
