<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for cake, capable of improving stability when it is put on a flat place. SOLUTION: Pleats 16a are provided at corner portions 14a-14c of a side wall 13 of the container 11 for cake, which is formed of a sheet material made of paper into the shape of a substantially heart-shaped container in the plane. Simultaneously, pleats 16b are also provided at substantially straight portions 15a and 15b of the container. Further, the pleats 16a at the corner portions 14a-14c and the pleats 16b at the substantially straight portions 15a and 15b are continuously provided. Furthermore, pitches of the pleats 16a at the corner portions 14a-14c are made narrower than those of the pleats 16b at the substantially straight portions 15a and 15b, and the depth of the pleats 16a is formed somewhat deeper than that of the pleats 16b.</p> |
