Provided is an electronic device, comprising: an extraction unit which, on the basis of images of a field of view which includes a photographic subject and range images, extracts a range image of the photographic subject; a determination unit which, on the basis of noise included in the range image of the photographic subject, determines whether the photographic subject is a glossy object; a display unit which displays the images of the field of view; a top panel which is disposed on the display screen side of the display unit and which further comprises a control screen; an oscillation element which is driven with a drive signal and which causes the control screen to emit a unique ultrasonic oscillation; an amplitude data allocation unit which allocates, as amplitude data of the drive signal, a first amplitude to a display region of the glossy object and a second amplitude which is smaller than the first amplitude to a display region of a non-glossy object; and a drive control unit which, when a control input is carried out in the display region of the glossy object, drives the oscillation element with the drive signal at the first amplitude according to the degree in change over time of the position of the control input, and which, when the control input is carried out in the display region of the non-glossy object, drives the oscillation element with the drive signal at the second amplitude according to the degree in change over time of the position of the control input.
