<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent a defective image due to the melt-sticking of the image forming material of a sheet loaded on a sheet receiving part with a simple constitution and while suppressing the decrease in productivity to the minimum. <P>SOLUTION: As for the image forming apparatus equipped with a sheet ejector 3 arranged near the exit of a sheet carrying path 2 in the image forming apparatus main body 1, the sheet delivering device 3 is provided with a delivering member 5 arranged near the exit of the sheet carrying path 2 so as to nip and carry the sheet S, a drive transmission mechanism 6 for rotary- driving the delivering member 5 and an ejection controller 7 for temporarily delaying the sheet delivering time by the delivering member 5 by controlling the drive transmission mechanism 6 when the sheet S passes through the delivering member 5. Besides, the ejector 3 is provided with plural delivering paths A and B having different length and arranged between an image forming part 11 and the delivering member 5 in the sheet carrying path 2, and a delivering controller 7 for selecting either of the delivering path A or B in accordance with the kind of the sheet or a job condition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
