MANUAL RELEASING DEVICE OF DRUM ELECTROMAGNETIC BRAKE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To move shoes with a relatively light operating force by reducing a mechanical loss on separating operation of the shoes from a rotor, and also to minimize a partial striking of the shoes in a brake releasing state.

SOLUTION: There are provided: a plurality of connecting bolts 24a and 24b connected to shoes 35a and 35b separately in the widthwise direction and projecting passing through a fixing member 20 inside the fixing member; a tensile force imparting means for imparting a tensile force uniformly from the first stage so as to move the plurality of the connecting bolts 24a and 24b in the radial direction inward against an energizing force of a spring; and releasing handles 26a and 26b rotatably set to the fixing member and for transmitting the operation force to the tensile force imparting means when rotationally operated by manual.
