PURPOSE: A method and a kit for diagnosis of progress stage of cancer are provided, thereby easily diagnosing the progress stage of cancer in animals including human. CONSTITUTION: A kit for diagnosis of progress stage of cancer comprises antibodies for proteins p53, Bcl-XL and Bcl-2 in a sample of cancer isolated from animals, wherein the kit is a lateral flow strip; the strip contains p53 antibody in a first testing line and Bcl-XL antibody in a second testing line; the strip contains p53 antibody in a first testing line, Bcl-XL antibody in a second testing line, and Bcl-2 antibody in a third testing line; the cancer is lung cancer, brain cancer, liver cancer, breast cancer, ovarian cancer or colon cancer; and the animal is human. A method for diagnosis of progress stage of cancer comprises the steps of: analyzing the level of proteins p53 or Bcl-XL or the level of two proteins and protein Bcl-2 in a sample; and determining the sample as a progressive cancer when the level of p53 or Bcl-XL or both proteins is high or as an early stage cancer when the level of Bcl-2 is high.
