FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves receiving formal acceptance of patient to talk to physician at the second- fourth day abstinence. Patient attention is directed to forms and variants of disease progress using comprehensive images and comparisons to enable the patient to recognize and evaluate addiction symptom manifestations and their clinical specific in him- or herself. Psychotherapy techniques are applied in building talk plan like repetitions to follow each symptom transformations to the final stage of the disease; distancing to distinguish pathological manifestations and healthy part of personality; confrontation to bring the patient together with him- or herself and his/her problems; favorable prognosis expressing assurance in success mentioning conditions enabling one to achieve it. The final step involves applying destructive opposition method. The physician assumes position aimed on alcohol consumption and sets kinesthetic anchor on each positive declaration of the patient by touching the patient left hand fingers. Then the patient is induced to give conclusions concerning consequences on the occasion the disease being in progress, and kinesthetic anchor is set by touching the patient right hand fingers.
