<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent breakage (failure) caused by abnormal operation of a compressor by estimating the internal state of the compressor with high accuracy, and to maintain the operating state of high efficiency without needing to overprotect the compressor or the like. <P>SOLUTION: A momentary current/momentary voltage applied to a motor three-phase coil 10 is detected to estimate the internal state of the compressor 1 from the detection value. As the estimate object of the internal state of the compressor 1, there is motor driving torque, for instance, and a lubricating failure, liquid compression, and the like are estimated from the motor driving torque.
