OPTICAL RECORDING MEDIUM HAVING STAINPROOF PERFORMANCE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording medium which has no deterioration of the base material of the optical recording medium by a photocatalyst and excels in the mildewproofness of its surface over a long period of time by the photocatalytic reaction.

SOLUTION: The optical recording medium has a surface layer comprising a photocatalyst (A) and a binder component (B), and the concentration of the photocatalyst (A) in the surface layer increases from the inner side of the optical recording medium towards its surface.
